Dexter Beef is a smaller breed that produces a highly sought after variety that is preferred by top chefs for its grain, texture and flavor. Though the individual cuts are smaller, they make up for it in quality over traditional commercial beef.<\/p>\n<p>When ordering, you will need to decide whether you want a half or a whole.<\/p>\n<p>The shopping cart will require a $500.00 deposit for each half.\u00a0 The final price will be calculated based upon the HCW (hot carcass weight) of your beef.\u00a0 We will provide you with a cut sheet and your beef will be processed and packaged to your specifications in a USDA inspected facility.\u00a0 Beef orders will be prepared, vacuum packed, and frozen and made ready to pickup by appointment at our farm.\u00a0 \u00a02026 Beef orders will be $7.50\/lb on the HCW.\u00a0 Typical Dexter beefs will be from 350-500lb HCW making the final price from $1300-1875 for a processed half.<\/p>\n<p>Our Fall 2025 processing will be late September for Mid October delivery.\u00a0 Grain finished steers are still available for October Delivery.<\/p>\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT!<\/strong><br \/>\nAll of our Dexter Beef is born and raised on grass and hay.
